The Eden Year | Alternating Weekly Format

(One Day a Week | Rotating Focus)

Week A: Herbalism & Homemaking

 

Focus: Practical skills, plant wisdom, nature journaling, community grounding

Time: 5-hour day 

9:00 – 9:30 AM — Liturgy, worship, and morning prayer

9:30 – 10:30 AM — Nature walk + reflection journaling

10:30 – 11:30 AM — Plant of the Week (Materia Medica entry + sketching)

11:30 – 12:30 PM — Hands-on: Tinctures, salves, teas, foraging, or gardening

12:30 – 1:00 PM — Lunch + herbal tea + discussion

1:00 – 2:00 PM — Home-based skill rotation: bread, fermenting, or finishing Hands-on etc.

* Spring will be heavily occupied by foraging and harvesting.

Week B: Rooted Wisdom Study & Soul Work

 
Focus: Rooted Wisdom Study coursework discussion, personal formation, relational wisdom

Time: 5-hour day 

9:00 – 9:30 AM — Liturgy, worship, and morning prayer

9:30 – 10:30 AM — Group discussion of Equipped to Counsel content (from homework)

10:30 – 11:15 AM — Case studies, journaling, or peer-led Q&A

11:15 – 12:15 PM — Personal reflection or nature walk

12:15 – 12:45 PM — Lunch + fellowship

12:45 – 2:00 PM — Guided discipleship practice (Examen prayer journal or self-authoring journal)
